The second stage of labor begins when the cervix dilates to 10 cm and ends with delivery.Went into labor and delivery and the contractions were consistent every about 3-5 minutes . They did the cervical check and I was 1cm dilated. They told me it’s totally normal to be up to 2cm in the entire 3rd trimester. It wasn’t a concern because the dilation stayed the same and my water didn’t break..
