The fix: cut small triangular pieces of foam (I used eva art/craft foam) to support the leaf-spring contacts so they don't get flattened.That or the controller being overly worn out (been using my Quest 2 heavily since release and still no drift for me, an improvement over past controllers, but does still happen).
